A Word from the Makers

Your Grey Bow Tie is crafted from traditional Harris Tweed woven in the Islanders homes on the Isle of Harris from pure wool.

We love this heritage fabric for its cool, weathered colour, with the subtle fleck woven into the twill giving it soft depth and warmth. A Harris Tweed Bow Tie is beautifully textured and has a little weight to the cloth that gives it a rugged feel.

Tweed is a great alternative to traditional formal fabrics and when added to a crisp white shirt and waistcoat will create a more timeless, relaxed and quietly distinctive look for a groom.
